About Rich Fletcher
I’ve been a hunter most of my life; sold real estate for over thirty years. I’m a hunter who sells real estate for a living.
Hunting has taken me around the nation and around the world. For many years I’ve been a student of the outdoors. I can identify most mammal tracks and sometimes cook a decent meal from scratch with a camp stove.
I’ve traveled through California, Oregon, Colorado and Nevada hunting deer and elk with a bow and arrow, hunted caribou and Sitka black-tailed deer in Alaska, and red deer stag in New Zealand. I Bagged a nice stone sheep ram in British Columbia and hunted in Africa in 2007. I gained a first-hand glance at conservation as a 13-year-long director of a national conservation organization and wrote two books about hunting.
Thirty years ago I purchased my first hunting property as a minor owner in a 140 acre duck club. Today I own enough hunting property to satisfy all my local hunting needs, with hunting rights for waterfowl and upland game on over 2300 acres. I’ve learned a lot about the ins and outs of owning hunting lands.
I’ve received a fair award from a jury in a condemnation proceeding, particpated in a partitian suit to divide land between unhappy co-owners and helped create a conservation easement for the benefit of endangered species. I’ve also worked with many satisfied buyers and sellers to assist them with their real estate ventures.
Call me and let me know your needs. I can tell you what it will take for you to purchase hunting property, but only you can decide if you can afford it. If you decide you can, I can help you make it happen.
And, don’t forget to check out my blog, hunterlandowner.wordpress.com. That’s where I share my most recent stories, musings, and thoughts on hunter-landownership.
